Annex

Kalen, May 2019. A really lovely place for a quiet getaway in the South Downs. Very well located for several of the nicest walks in the area, plus very pleasant walks leaving from right behind the house! There is a binder with a small OS map and helpful tips about the region. We got local fruit and veggies from just down the road and cooked dinner every night – the kitchen had everything we needed in terms of dishes and pans. Will definitely come back if we’re back in the area.

Jenny, May 2019. Lovely annex with good bed and pillows, amenities all good and decor delightful. Also the garden and surrounding countryside gorgeous. Plenty of space as we had big suitcases lovely bathroom and shower .you will enjoy your stay here,

Bryanne, May 2019. Jon and his wife’s place was a perfect home away from home. The house itself is gorgeous and tucked away offering loads of privacy. The garden is beautiful and well kept. There were loads of beautiful trails within walking distance of the house and not to mention the close by farms that sold fresh fruit, veg, honey, jam and eggs. We ate out a lot in the local pubs and the food was great! We slept very well as the bed was super comfy and the mornings peaceful. We would suggest bringing a couple board games for the evenings and really making the most of the glamping kind of feel we got from it. We would definitely recommend this place.

Lodge

Cinzia, May 2019. The cottage is located in a quite wooded area with easy access to attractions such as Arundel Castle, Petworth, Chichester and West Dean College and Gardens – all “must see” places. Jon emailed several days before our arrival with detailed directions which allowed us to find the cottage with ease. We were delayed in our arrival but contacted Jon to advise that we would be late and he reassured us that he would be there to greet us when we arrived. There is ample room in the cottage and the furnishings are well presented and comfortable.

Kirsten, May 2019. This is a lovely place to stay. It’s a cosy space with everything you need for a nice weekend. The location is great for going on walks and exploring the local towns and nearby National Trust properties and gardens. There is a pub within walking distance that does nice food as there are many places to eat a short drive away. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Emma, April 2019. Jon’s place is set in some of the most beautiful countryside in the country. It is extremely comfortable and very well equipped. Highly recommended.
